EasyCheck – Mite Wash Cup & Basket
EasyCheck is a practical tool for monitoring Varroa mite levels in your colonies using an alcohol wash method. The cup and strainer basket system makes sampling and counting straightforward when used correctly.
Proper sampling technique is important. Be sure to collect nurse bees from the brood area for accurate results.
Several instructional videos are available online demonstrating correct use. Randy Oliver’s short mite wash demo is a helpful reference.
